SENATE BILL NO. 376 "An Act relating to public assistance and                                       
subpoena powers" was read the second time.                                                          
                                                                                                    
Senator Dyson, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                     
adoption of the Health, Education and Social Services Committee                                     
Substitute offered on page 2938. Without objection, CS FOR                                          
SENATE BILL NO. 376(HES) "An Act relating to public assistance                                      
and subpoena powers; and relating to the permanent fund dividend and                                
subpoena powers" was adopted.                                                                       
                                                                                                    
Senator Ben Stevens moved and asked unanimous consent that the bill                                 
be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final                              
passage. Senator Ellis objected.
